Welcome the Newest Addition to the Fleet!

The fire department placed into service Marine 341, a sixteen-foot flat-bottomed SeaArk water/ice rescue craft. It has a 25 HP motor, ice runners, side rails, and a console. It will be used for water rescue, recovery, and evacuation along the Rancocas creek, and ice rescue in Smithville Lake. It replaced a forty year-old twelve-foot V-hull boat poorly suited for these activities. The department now has four certified ice rescue instructors as well as several additional ice rescue technicians.
